And what if my route goes through another country? Your flat rate covers these eight countries. Some countries, such as Italy or Croatia, don't use a vignette for their motorway toll, but instead a distance-based toll: you pay directly on site at the toll station. This also applies to individual road sections within a flat-rate country, such as the Brenner and the Tauern Tunnel in Austria. Your vignette remains valid regardless.

Nothing stops you from activating several expensive vignettes in the same flat-rate month, for example the Swiss annual vignette (42,82 €) plus the Bulgarian e-vignette (10,00 €). Two separate Slovenia trips in the same month
The Slovenia vignette is valid only 7 days. For two separate trips (for example, a vacation at the beginning of the month and a weekend trip weeks later), you therefore need two vignettes: 2× SI individually: 32,00 €. With the flat rate: 12,80 €, for SI and the other 7 countries at the same time.
Case C · Negative example: Year-round driver AT
You only drive in Austria all year round
12-month flat rate: 153,60 €. Austrian annual vignette: 106.80 €. Here the annual vignette is cheaper. Get that one, not the flat rate.
Case D · Multi-Country Transit
A journey in the same month goes through AT, SI and HU
3 individual vignettes (AT: 10 days, SI: 7 days, HU: 10 days) together: 47,95 €. With the flat rate, you still only pay 12,80 €, for all three countries at the same time, plus the other five included as well.
Who the flat rate is worth it for
- You make at least two trips a month, no matter which of the eight countries you're traveling to.
- You are traveling spread out over several months of the year, not just on one or two occasions.
- You are a cross-border commuter and regularly cross one or more of the eight countries.
- You want to be able to hit the road spontaneously, without first calculating whether a single vignette is worth it.
- You're traveling to several of the eight countries; the flat rate covers all of them at the same time, at no extra cost.
For whom the flat rate is less worthwhile
- You drive all year round exclusively in a country for which an annual vignette is available (e.g. Austria, Slovenia, Switzerland). In that case, the respective annual vignette is usually cheaper than a 12-month flat rate.
- You only need a single short-term vignette for the whole year. In that case, a one-time individual purchase is cheaper than an ongoing flat rate.
- You are traveling with a vehicle for which the regular car vignette does not apply. Please contact us beforehand instead of placing an order.
If any of these points apply to you, we'd rather tell you now than have you cancel a flat rate later that never made sense for you in the first place.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the price the same for every country, or do I pay a different amount per country?
The flat-rate price is a single price for all eight countries at the same time (Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Bulgaria): €12.80 per month. When you sign up, you don't commit to a single country — instead, you simply activate your vignette for whichever country you currently need.
Do I have to choose one country, or does the flat rate cover several?
You don't have to choose. With an ongoing flat rate, you can activate vignettes for each of the eight countries, as often and in whatever combination you like, at no extra cost and without a separate flat rate per country.
Is Switzerland also covered by the flat rate?
Yes, Switzerland is one of the eight selectable countries. There, only the annual vignette is available (no short-term format), which is covered by the same €12.80 flat rate as any other country. Purchased individually, the Swiss annual vignette currently costs around €43 with us (officially CHF 40).
For which vehicles does the flat rate apply, also for motorcycles or motorhomes?
The flat rate covers the regular car vignette for each country. Whether and how other vehicle classes (e.g. motorcycle) are possible in a particular country is regulated differently depending on the country. If anything is unclear, feel free to contact our customer service beforehand instead of simply placing an order.
Is the flat rate tied to a specific license plate?
Yes, when you complete your purchase, you provide a license plate number for which your flat rate vignettes apply. If you change your vehicle or license plate, please contact our customer service. We will then explain the solution that fits your specific case, rather than promising something here that we might not be able to guarantee in every situation.
Is Bulgaria included as well, and how much does the vignette cost there separately?
Yes, the Bulgarian e-vignette (7 days) is one of the eight selectable countries. With us, a single purchase currently costs €10.00 (as of 18.08.2026), which corresponds to the official price set by the Bulgarian authority BGTOLL. The flat rate costs €12.80 per month, regardless of that.
How can you offer a flat rate for €12.80 when individual vignettes sometimes cost more?
The flat-rate price is calculated so that it balances out across many customers: some use their vignettes in several countries multiple times a month, others book only a single vignette or cancel again after a short time. That's the normal working principle of a flat rate, not a secret. That's why, further up, we honestly point out for whom the flat rate is less worthwhile.
Can I cancel the flat rate at any time?
Yes. The flat rate has no minimum term and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. In addition, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies from the conclusion of the contract; see our withdrawal instructions.
