The class is stated in your vehicle registration document (field J). This vignette entitles you to drive on the sections of motorways and expressways subject to the vignette requirement for a certain period. The distance travelled is irrelevant. We advise you to arrange a vignette in good time. Otherwise, you risk heavy fines. You can purchase the digital vignette easily online. Alternatively, there are also special points of sale on site. When purchasing the vignette, you register your vehicle by licence plate: this is digitally recorded and automatically checked when driving on toll roads. So make sure to fill in all information correctly to avoid problems and travel worry-free.

Motorhomes registered as trucks over 3.5 t gross vehicle weight

Only motorhomes registered as trucks (class N2/N3) weighing more than 3.5 t gross vehicle weight are recorded via a special transmitter device. In this case, the toll is calculated based on distance (= distance-based toll) and settled accordingly. To do this, you must register in the emyto system. You will then receive an electronic transmitter device, which calculates your toll fee based on the distance travelled.
