Do I actually need a vignette for Bulgaria?

Yes: Bulgarian motorways (e.g. A1, A2) and most expressways require a toll in the form of the digital vignette. It's linked to your vehicle's license plate – a windscreen sticker is no longer needed since the switch to the digital system, checks are done automatically via license plate recognition.

What is the Digital Vignette Flat Rate for Bulgaria?

On most motorways in Bulgaria, you need a (digital) vignette for your motor vehicle. With your active digital vignette flat rate, you can book an unlimited number of 7-day vignettes for your vehicle.

You only pay the monthly flat-rate price. We cover the toll fees for all digital vignettes you book during the current month.

How does the flat rate work?

When placing your order, you specify the start date and time of your first digital vignette. Each vignette is valid for 7 days. After successful payment, your flat rate is activated and the first vignette is automatically set up within a few minutes. You can view the status at any time in your flat-rate management area.

Book additional vignettes

As soon as you need a new vignette, open your flat-rate management page and select the desired start date. Activation will again take place automatically and at no additional cost. These follow-up vignettes can be activated by you within 7 days before the start of their validity.

When and how can I cancel the flat rate?

You can cancel your flat rate at any time directly in your management area with a notice period of 0 days until the end of the period – easily with just a few clicks. A written cancellation is not required. Each period always lasts one month.
