The validity of last year's vignettes only remains until January 31. From February 1, only the new 2026 vignettes will be accepted.

Prices in Austria

Prices for 2026 have increased for the vignette in Austria:

  • Annual car vignette: now costs 106.80 euros

  • Two-month vignette: now costs 32.00 euros

  • 10-day vignette: now costs 12.80 euros

  • 1-day vignette: now costs 9.60 euros

Prices for the 2026 route toll for passes and tunnels in Austria have also partly increased:

Prices in Switzerland

The price for the vignette in Switzerland remains unchanged in 2026:

  • Annual vignette: CHF 40 (sticker vignette in the euro area €44.00; e-vignette approx. €43 depending on exchange rate, as of October 2026)

The 2027 vignette will be available from December 1, 2026, and is valid from December 1, 2026 to January 31, 2028. No price change has been announced; the price remains CHF 40.

If a vignette is missing or invalid, a fine of CHF 200 is payable in Switzerland; in addition, you must immediately purchase a vignette for CHF 40. If a vehicle combination is driven entirely without vignettes, the fine applies twice. If the vignette has been tampered with, the penalty can be significantly higher.
