Slovakia: Diaľničná známka 2027 price remains stable
Slovak toll sticker prices will remain unchanged in 2027 as well – this was officially announced by Transport Minister Jozef Ráž at the end of September 2026.
The annual vignette for cars will therefore continue to cost 90 euros, the monthly vignette 17.10 euros, the 10-day vignette 10.80 euros and the 1-day vignette 8.10 euros.
Why this is good news
It was only in 2026 that the annual vignette became 30 euros more expensive as part of consolidation measures for the Slovak state budget. According to Ráž, motorists who are already burdened by high fuel prices should not be asked to pay additional costs in 2027.
Relevant for travelers heading to the High Tatras and Poland
The Slovak D1 motorway between Bratislava and Košice is the country's central east-west connection and the most important route for travelers to the High Tatras. Anyone using this route should keep an eye on current construction sites anyway – such as the recently opened bypass at Ružomberok with the new Čebrať tunnel or the tightened Slovak traffic regulations introduced in September.
