Q: Which vehicles is the add-on valid for?

For cars up to 3.5 t technically permissible maximum laden mass, for the number plate of your Vignette Flat Rate.

Q: How often can I drive with the add-on?

There is always one unused ticket registered per route. If you activate another trip, it is reserved and registered as soon as the previous ticket has been used or has expired. A reservation lapses after 14 days without registration.

Q: Can I withdraw from the add-on?

Yes, within 14 days of booking the add-on; your Vignette Flat Rate is not affected. You get the amount paid back in full. The right of withdrawal ends as soon as a ticket registered via the add-on has been used or has expired. After a withdrawal, you cannot book the add-on again for the same flat rate for 30 days.

Q: How do I cancel the add-on?

In your flat rate management or in the app, at the end of the current billing period. Until then you can use the add-on and take back the cancellation. The add-on has no minimum term. If your Vignette Flat Rate ends, the add-on ends too.

Q: What happens to the add-on if I pause my flat rate?

The add-on is suspended during the pause and no fee is charged for it in that time. You cannot activate route tolls during the pause; reserved activations that have not been registered yet are cancelled when the pause starts. Tickets already registered stay valid until they expire.

Q: Is the Karawanken tunnel included in both directions?

No, only southbound. Northbound the toll is collected by the Slovenian DARS, that trip is not included in the add-on.

What is not included?

Karawanken tunnel (A11) northbound: the toll is collected by the Slovenian motorway company DARS, not ASFINAG.
Private toll roads such as the Felbertauern road, Grossglockner High Alpine Road, Timmelsjoch, Gerlos, Nockalm road, Villach Alpine Road, Malta High Alpine Road and Silvretta High Alpine Road: you pay these directly to the operator.
ASFINAG multi-trip and commuter cards: the add-on covers single-trip tickets.
Vehicles over 3.5 t: they pay the GO toll via the GO-Box on these routes.
Pfänder tunnel (A14): no route toll and no vignette required (section from the state border at Hörbranz to Hohenems). Landeck tunnel (S16): no route toll, only the vignette.
